Announcing Mitel’s New Personal Routing – Dynamic Extension Express

Here at Mills we are quite excited about a new feature from Mitel called Dynamic Extension Express. This is personal routing like we’ve never seen before! It’s personal in that each user can create a personal ring group that includes your selected associated destinations. The best part? Dynamic Extension Express can be routed to up to five destinations!

Let me share with you more about this feature:

Let’s say I have a busy day in and out of the office. With all the running in and out, it’d be nice to push and pull a call from my desk phone to my cell phone without disconnecting. Dynamic Extension Express allows me to do just that. I can “pull” a call from my cell back to my desk or I can “push” a call from my desk phone to my cell phone. Both can be done seamlessly during a call.

Twinning is another fantastic Dynamic Extension Express feature. (Twinning is routing incoming calls to multiple destinations.) Here are some examples of twinning:

• Calls ring simultaneously to my desk phone and cell phone for 15 seconds, then route to Voice Mail.
• Calls ring at my desk for 5 seconds, then ring desk phone and cell phone at the same time for 15 seconds, then route to Voice Mail.
• Calls rings at cell and desk for 5 seconds, then just desk for 10 seconds, then route to Voice Mail.
• Calls ring my desk phone, cell phone, and soft phone for 10 seconds, then route to Voice Mail.
